The little wire thing behind the tension knob.
This controls All of the machines upper thread tension. I had a fine, knotty, and ugly mess under the throat plate. Yuck!!!His replacement:
Not bad, but not the same!! I should be thankful I have a backup.. huh?
Today , I need to update my resume. (yuck again) Two jobs have peeked my interest.
What Miss Elly does after waking me up at 3am. Ya gotta love her

How lucky you are to have a back-up. Otherwise you'd have to be thinking about whipping out some appliqué or hand quilting.
