Find Me, Bind Me

That tittle says it all.
This photo is a collection of leaves hubby and I collected last weekend. Preserved in wax paper and on its way to Florida. I hope the recipient doesn't think , I am too weird. : )

Working on these Fabulous Dog Hankies. Maybe, I will make a dent in the fabric collection?

Yes Miss Elly! You are picture perfect.

Where are the bindings for these?? Grrr!! I hope to have these done by the end of this week.

Fall in Western NY

We are taking a break from the costume parade. Lets take a road trip. Quilters can look at these pictures as a lesson in color.

Here is Canandaigua Lake. I don't think we are at the peak of color yet. Next week, maybe?

Hubby and I went for a drive. The following pictures were taken at Bristol Mountain.

********Remember This*******

Dress me up Mommy

When Halloween was fun. I loved making costumes. We have Cinderella on the left and a Fifties Girl on the right. I think this was 10/31/00. I am looking for pictures from 1978 for Allyjo.

These costumes were not fun. Messy ,very messy. I think, we vacuumed up fur for a year. I still have all of these costumes. I am still searching. I will find 1978. More to come......

Faces of Fall

I love scarecrows. I am also allergic to burlap. I become a giant red hive and have trouble breathing. Over the weekend, I managed to piece together " A Harvest Welcome."

I still need to embellish, quilt, and bind. But, I will take progress in any shape or form. :0)

I chose green because it's a neutral color to me. Mother Nature uses it often. Let us not forget American dollars are that color.

I found the pattern in this magazine.

My house guest went home over the weekend. It seems weird without Silly Gilly.

Nothing taste better than a cool, crisp Pepsi on a fall day. So much for dog toys.

Miss Elly is happy, her beauty will no longer be ignored. See it even happens with dogs !

Happy Pink Saturday

Here is another member of my doll collection. She is from 1982. Cabbage Patch Kids were very popular back then. I have birth certificates but, I am not sure which one belongs to her.

Notice her rosie pink cheeks. Do you remember where the signiture is?

What was that name?

I was a teen back then. Just a mere 13. I remember recieving a cabbage patch and a boom box. Santa was good to me that year!

A touch of Fall

Here are some leaf blocks, I am working on. They are part of a fall wallhanging in progress. I hope to have together by Saturday. : )

I really need to make myself some flannel PJ pants. I would buy them but, the legs are always too short. I could buy mens but, there not girly enough for me. PJ pants are cheaper to make anyway. I had to throw out all of my pj pants out from last year. They were almost "see through." Can't answer the door with everyone knowing what color my undergarmets are. LOL!!!!

Another blogger told me these no slip rulers really do work. I used my 40% off coupon and bought this one. They do work. I am amazed.

I hope Santa brings me more. Maybe my hubby will tell Santa. I am trying to be a good girl.

This should be one of those Doublemint Gum Ads.
Silly Gilly and Miss Elly... alike yet different.
