My Little Piece of Earth

Here in Ny we are taking advantage of "Beautiful Days." Here is Elly taking a rest in the shade. We are planting and then planting more.

We are planting lilacs along one side of the fence. Against the back fence are Dappled Willows. I love the smell of lilacs. I will post a picture of the finished product when its light out.(its only 4am)

On the quilting front I am coming along. I am "sandwichin" today. Hungry anyone?LOL

Have a Fabulous Friday!

Sunday Happenings

I have my Stashbuster Report Done! Now I need to figure out how to upload it!

Because I am not doing this anymore. (yippee!) I have more time to sort and clean my sewing/quilting room. It is really like xmas. Jeff keeps hearing " I forgot I had that" or "I don't remember that UFO."
I think Elly is working on history. She is too sweet. I love her laid back, easy going personality. Bassets are just that way. Have a Great Day! Kind Comments are Always Appreciated.

Savvy Saturday

I am starting to get pics from graduation together. I am going to put them together now in a scrapbook, rather than put them in a box til the year 2040.I have to confess my girls pics are all in a box. *sigh* I am the princess of procrastination.

Orange Crush
I am still cleaning...sorting...and looking for my companion ruler. I have continued on to the next step Without It. (kicking myself)

I have picked out my new Project:

Once again, Orange. What has happened to me? I am a Green girl. I don't know what is going on. I am gonna fight with Excel now. Happy Saturday.

Pictured with them are my fabrics. I am not sure what orange (maybe both). Next to the fabric are two of many angels I have. The angels comfort me during stressful times. The one on the left is by Jim Shore who will be on QVC next week. The one on the right is The Learning Angel I recieved for graduation.Happy Thursday!

Graduation (cont)

As Requested
More info:
My degree is an Associate in Arts- Liberal Arts and Sciences
Here is a favorite picture. Are they that grown up?Check out Jessica (on the left) her shoes...My 6ft stature would be on the ground...And Becca on the right with her model face...It really does not hit you till you see a pic.
This experience was fun yet, I am old enough to be alot of my "Fellow grads" mom.The college FLCC in Canandaigua, NY was great. Highly recommended for anyone looking.
I must get back to my list now. Happy Wednesday!

This Weeks To Do List

Lets See How I Do:

  • Create an Excel sheet for Fabric Usage (like my hero)

  • Get caught up on Orange Crush

  • Pin baste Scrappy Trips and Star Struck

  • Sew binding on Aunt Sues Quilt

These are in NO particular order.

I am continuing sorting and cleaning my sewing room. I have spent Too much time looking for my companion ruler. I am so fustrated! You know I will find it ...after I purchase another one. My closet and drawers are a mess! I think someone or something messed up my sewing area!

Maybe it was:

She has that "Who Me" look. "I didn't mess up your sewing room Mom. "Her name is Pepper and she is 12 years old.

I must get to that list!!!! Happy Tuesday.
