Happy Pink Saturday, Lori. And, lots of licks for Miss Elly.
Yes, I do remember Cabbage Patch dolls, but I already had a child by then. My mother had a couple of the dolls, and we didn't remember which certificate went with each one either.
I do love those rosey cheeks. ;-)
They were all the rage back then. Please come visit for my Pink Saturday offering, and then click on the book in my sidebar for a book giveaway!
Lori, I have little knowledge of the cabbage patch dolls. They are so cute and real collectible. She is a real Pinkie today.
Hugs...jeanne
What sweet memories of my childhood your Pink Saturday post brings. I just loved those sweet little Cabbage Patch dolls and just seeing this one made me smile and feel just a little bit younger. Take care and have a great weekend.

I was already grown when CPK's came out. I remember friends with children willing to take out a 2nd mortgage to get one for their little girls. She is very sweet.
Happy Pink Saturday!

Happy Pink Saturday!

I remember Cabbage Patch Kids -- my daughter never wanted one so I dont know where the name is. Happy Pink Saturday.
Oh, so cute. I have several Cabbage Patch dolls from the same era. (I graduated HS in 1983 and still got a doll for Christmas every year.) I have also been to the "nursery" in Cleveland, GA, several times to see them being born from the cabbage patch. So cute! And yes, the siggie is on the butt!!
Weren't they signed on their umm cheeks? You must be my daughter's age because I remember going every where trying to find her a cabbage patch doll when she was little.
Have a wonderful pink weekend!
Hello, I was just out blog surfing and ran across yours. Oh yes, I remember the cabbage patch dolls. Our oldest daughter thought she would die if Santa didn't bring her one for Christmas. Ha Ha - But she still has it today and she is grown, married and now her two daughters play with the newer version of the doll. Isn't it amazing how fads repeat themselves.
Love your blog!
I love sweet cabbage patch babies.. Happy Pink !!
I remember Cabbage Patch dolls. My daughter wanted one so bad, and it was almost impossible to get one. Her daddy finally did get one for her. I wonder where it is now.
How cute!! I remember standing in horrid lines at JCPenneys just to get a Cabbage Patch doll for my daughter!!
Happy PS!!

Oh, yes, those CPatch kids were a part of our household, too! Each of my kids had one and, as a mom trying to obtain one for them, it was very difficult to come by them when they were "the rage". My kids are 32 and 29 and those dolls are packed away. I recall the name of our son's was Benny Buck and right now I don't remember our daugher's doll's name--but SOMEWHERE are the birth certificates! Thanks for the sweet memories of those fun dolls! Dana
Oh my goodness...I remember fights in stores about cabbage patch dolls they were so in demand. Lucky for me I had boys. Love your blog name. :)
