Fall in Western NY

We are taking a break from the costume parade. Lets take a road trip. Quilters can look at these pictures as a lesson in color.

Here is Canandaigua Lake. I don't think we are at the peak of color yet. Next week, maybe?

Hubby and I went for a drive. The following pictures were taken at Bristol Mountain.

Great pictures. I can almost picture the snow and you two skiing down that slope together. Let me know when - and I'll come and take those pictures.

Lori, I came over from Beverly's post
Your fall color looks good to me. We live in the mountains of NC and fall is still not here. It has a good start. Your area looks beautiful and I don't think I would get in that cable ride. You go girl. I assume Bristol Mtn. isn't very far from where you live. Have a great day.

I don't think you could pay me to get up that high! Good for you for conquering your fear of heights!

Hi (me waving) Lori and Miss Elly.

Your pictures are spectacular. I would love to be there right now. I don't know if I could take that ride or not, but I would sure try. I would probably be okay if I just looked ahead. My problem is looking straight down from heights. I'm not good at standing on the edge. Oh well, just one of my many quirks.
