Fabric is one of my favorite things too - LOL. The puppy is darling (and so is Elly). Thanks for being a good egg!
We have a long history with Bassets. Our last one just died last summer - our third and each of them lived loooong lives. They have such personalities, don't they? I think it is a good thing that we don't live close as I can see us wanting to start all over again.

Your Basset is adorable...I have a serious soft spot for animals. I have no pets but keep cat and dog biscuits in the house for the neighborhood pets who come to visit (probably because they know I have snacks!) Hee!
